Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders executive VP-HR Administration Judy Ralston-Hansen, recently announced The Iowa College Foundation recognized Homesteaders for 50 years of support at its annual meeting, held in Des Moines, Iowa on April 17, according to a news release. ICF Chairman, John Smith, presented Ralston-Hansen with the award.
Ralston-Hansen, who serves on the ICF executive committee, says, “One of the best things about the ICF is that 73 percent of the students graduating from ICF-supported colleges stay in Iowa after graduation. What a great resource for our state’s future.”
The primary purpose of the ICF is to provide students the opportunity for a high-quality education by securing financial resources for their member private colleges and universities. Homesteaders Chairman and President Graham Cook, says supporting the ICF is a great fit for the company. “Our business focus is on the funeral industry, but as an active member of the community, we are happy to provide resources to organizations, such as the ICF, that help strengthen people in our communities and benefit the entire state.”
