THE ORGANIZER of Asia Funeral Expo, Vertical Expo Services Co., has announced the renaming of the conference, according to a press release. The original name of “Asia Funeral Expo & Conference” has officially changed to “Asia Funeral and Cemetery Expo & Conference.”
At the same time, AFE launches its new logo.
As Asia’s largest funeral trade fair & conference, the AFE organizer is keen on exploring business opportunity for the industry. “The start of using this new name is to enforce the importance of the cemetery to AFE and make it a comprehensive and professional industry expo & conference in 2013,” said Kenny Lo, chief executive officer of Vertical Expo Services Co.
AFE 2012 had received 132 exhibiting companies from 19 different countries and attracted over 2,800 trade visitors and buyers to the fair from 34 countries. Among them, there was nearly 50 percent of business nature of visitors worked in related to cemetery industry. For example: InvoCare Limited (Australia), NV Multi Asia( Malaysia) , Xiao En Group (Malaysia) Fu Shou Yuan ( Group) Co (China)., ChinPaoSan Group, (Taiwan), Heritage ( Philippines), Po Fook Hill (Hong Kong) etc had come to join the show. In addition, at the AFE Awards Ceremony, three out of seven winners had cemetery-related businesses.
The 2013 Asia Funeral and Cemetery Expo & Conference will be held May 16-18, 2012.
