WHAT AN incredible honor, from many perspectives. As Mark Reynolds carried the Olympic Torch across Cambridge, England on July 7, 2012, he ran with the cremated remains of his brother, David, who was originally nominated to be the Torchbearer until his untimely death earlier this year. Mark created a way for David to be right there running with him by using a Sunflower Fields Scattering Tube.

Passages’ collection of Eco-Friendly Scattering Tubes have been gaining awareness and increasing in demand for several years. They are an innovative staple product of Passages International, Inc., and come in 13 different designs to contain the cremated remains of beloved family members and cherished pets.
“I can only imagine the pride felt by Mark Reynolds as the substitute Olympic Torchbearer who created a way for his deceased brother, David, to in essence run with him across Cambridge,” said Passages’ president, Darren Crouch. “What an incredible honor it is to know that a Scatter Tube made it possible and easy for Mark to pay tribute to his brother in such a meaningful way. It will no doubt make a lifelong impact on the lives of the Reynolds family.”
Passages’ Scattering Tubes are designed and engineered to simplify the scattering process. They are durable, dignified and simple to use with a removable lid and perforated “push in” tab. Each design is available in an adult and matching miniature size, with additional sizes to meet the needs of pet owners. They may be recycled after use and will not clutter landfills if disposed of that way.
