LAKE BARRINGTON, Ill. – Meadow Hill Corp., originator of Thumbies Fingerprint Keepsakes, has announced the expansion of its sales group, with the addition of Elaine Tipton as a sales representative for North Carolina and Virginia.
Tipton is a mortuary school student attending Fayetteville Technical Community College. She has completed her embalming apprenticeship and hopes to be licensed this coming spring. A licensed esthetician, Tipton's work as a freelance makeup artist is what piqued her interest in funeral service.
Tipton also has a broad background in sales, having co-owned a spa franchise and worked as an account executive for Liz Claiborne. In this later capacity she called on Macy’s and Nordstrom stores in northern California. Her background in product training and merchandising makes her a valuable addition to the Meadow Hill sales team.
Tipton will be working on staff training needs with existing Meadow Hill accounts, focusing on keepsake presentation skills for funeral arrangers. She will also be calling on funeral homes, who do not yet offer the Thumbies line of keepsakes to their families.
