Coming Soon: Scattering Tube Design Contest for Passages International

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Do you have a great idea for a Scattering Tube design? Whether or not you currently offer Passages’ Scattering Tubes, perhaps you’ve had an awesome design idea for a new tube? Well, here’s your chance for that vision to become reality.

Watch for details as Passages will soon kick off a unique contest to help with the artwork design for its next Scattering Tube.

Passages International was the first to introduce the Scatter Tube concept. The Tubes are designed and engineered to simplify the scattering process. They are durable, dignified and easy to use, featuring a removable lid and industry-first, perforated “push-in” tab, to easily open the tubes prior to use.

“Nobody knows the changing desires of families better than funeral and cremation professionals? That’s why we invite you to get involved with designing the next Scattering Tube,” said Passages’ president, Darren Crouch. “The functionality, uniqueness, affordability and eco-friendly nature of the tubes are only part of the attraction to families. The artwork and design are other vital aspects. While we have many popular designs now, it is time for something new. Submissions will consist of a brief written description and template design of the artwork. We look forward to seeing everyone’s ideas,” says Crouch.

One winner will be chosen by a panel of judges within the funeral profession. The winner will receive a trip to the CANA Marketing Symposium in Las Vegas in February 2013. This trip includes airfare, two night’s hotel accommodations and free entry to the symposium. The winner will also receive a free case of Scattering Tubes with his or her artwork design.

The contest officially kicks-off at the National Funeral Directors Association convention in Charlotte, N.C. Oct. 7. However, there will be an opportunity to get a jump start prior to the convention. Look for more details forthcoming in the next week.
