Homesteaders Welcomes New Account Executive for Texas

Homesteaders VP-Field Sales Dan Lodermeier announced that Vincent W. Michaelsen has been hired to fill the account executive position dedicated to serving funeral homes in Texas, according to a news release.

“I am delighted to have Vincent onboard,” Lodermeier said. “He has an impressive track record in the industry, specifically in helping funeral homes increase their preneed production. Vincent is a perfect fit to join the largest and most experienced preneed field force in the country, reinforcing our continued commitment to funeral home success.”

Michaelsen brings nearly a decade of funeral service experience to his territory. Most recently he was a Regional VP for afpHORIZON, where he was responsible for preneed production growth and retention for accounts in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.

“I am honored to join Homesteaders Life Company,” Michaelsen said. “I understand the absolute importance of listening to my customers and understanding their needs and goals. I am excited to show them how joining with Homesteaders can help them achieve success.”

Michaelsen graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, where he received the Funeral Management Award.

Focused solely on funeral insurance funding and support, Homesteaders is the number one choice of independent funeral home owners among the nationally-known providers. The company began the account executive program more than 20 years ago to meet the needs of the expanding pre-need market. Homesteaders is associated with nearly 4,000 funeral homes and 8,000 licensed agents across the United States. Click here for more information.
