ANNAPOLIS, MD. -- Nearly 100 Trigard dealers, vendors and guests gathered in Annapolis, Maryland, July 28 - 30, for the 2013 Trigard Convention. Hosted by the Darby family, the convention featured three days of educational sessions, networking and a tour of Chesapeake Burial Vault Co., according to a news release.
During the convention, Trigard presented its sales awards for achievement during 2012 to select vault dealers.
Chesapeake Burial Vault Company (pictured) received the “You Get It” Award, recognizing the dealer who showed extraordinary commitment to serving families.
Watts Vault and Monument was recognized for highest overall sales volume. Watts also was awarded the highest percentage of Aegean® sales, and Hecox Goodwin LLC was recognized for the second highest percentage. Watts received a third award for the highest sales volume of Healing Tree® products, with Chesapeake Burial Vault Company and Bell Vault Company being recognized for second and third highest respectively.
In the small business division, Trigard recognized Egyptian Vault for the highest growth percentage, Brock Burial Vault for the second highest growth percentage, and Beesley Monument and Vault for the third highest.
In the large business division, awards went to Southside Grave and Vault Inc. for the highest growth percentage, Evans Burial Vault for the second highest, and Old Castle Trigard for the third highest.
Two new dealers were recognized for sales growth: Piedmont Precast and Richards Vault.
A new category was added this year for highest sales volume of marketing materials. Minnick Concrete was recognized for the highest volume, followed by Hecox Goodwin LLC and Rocky Hill Vault Inc.
