FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards, Inc. will hold its 110th Annual Meeting Feb. 26-27, 2014, at The Caribe Royale in Orlando, Fla. The two-day meeting will feature keynote speaker, Susan Meyerle, Ph.D., and her presentation on “The Motivated Regulator” as well as a wide range of subjects including: unlicensed practice, alkaline hydrolysis regulation, legislative updates and licensure portability. The Conference is offering an early bird registration fee for $300 that will be valid until Dec. 31. Attendees may complete their registration form on-line on our web-site or print off the registration form and send it in before this date to receive the early discounted fee. Registrations received after Jan. 1, 2014, will be $325.
The Conference is pleased to provide the Board Member Training Program again, which will take place the afternoon of Feb. 25 and continue through the morning of Feb. 26. It is designed to help board members become familiar with the roles and responsibilities of serving on a funeral service regulatory board. The program is open to any member of any board regardless of how many years served.
