BILLERICA, Mass. – The Dodge Company is pleased to announce the addition of two distinguished funeral service veterans to its team effective immediately. Dr. Jacquie Taylor and Sally Belanger bring to their respective positions impeccable credentials and a history of unswerving commitment to the betterment of funeral service.
Taylor has accepted the position of general manager. Taylor brings to The Dodge Company a wealth of knowledge from nearly 40 years as a licensed funeral service practitioner and educator. The former executive director of the New England Institute at Mount Ida College and president of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science has acted in numerous capacities at the national level including terms as president of the American Board of Funeral Service Education and service on the board of directors of The Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards. Taylor is an internationally recognized expert on the field of funeral service, having worked on several high-profile litigation cases and in collaboration with the federal government. Funeral service practitioners nationwide are familiar with Taylor’s high-spirited, thought-provoking presentations that always keep participants on the edge of their seats.
Belanger has accepted the position of community relations liaison. In her role, Belanger will support the executive team in a variety of ways that involve external communications. She will coordinate the approval of continuing education credits for Dodge educational seminars and she will interface with funeral service associations nationwide regarding convention exhibit participation. Like Taylor, Belanger brings to The Dodge Company a diverse background in funeral service, both as a licensed funeral service practitioner and as the executive director of three state funeral directors associations over the course of 30 years.
