OGR Fall Forum Set for Nashville, Tennessee

The International Order of the Golden Rule® (OGR), the world’s leading professional association dedicated to making independent funeral homes exceptional, will host its annual Fall Forum Education Conference October 10 - 11 in Nashville, Tenn. at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.

Immediately preceding National Funeral Director’s Association’s (NFDA) Annual Conference & Trade Show, OGR will host its members at their annual fall education event, The Fall Forum. This two day event will provide members with a variety of educational sessions, networking, and an evening at the Grand Ole Opry. In cooperation with NFDA, all Fall Forum registrants will also receive complimentary access to NFDA events including, Welcome Party on Sunday, Oct. 12, plus Opening General Session and entry to the expo on Monday, October 13.

Our loyal members embrace these events as opportunities to visit with their peers, exchange ideas and share experiences with other funeral professionals who encounter the same challenges and aspire to maintaining the service provided by chosen Golden Rule® funeral homes,” said Mark Allen, Executive Director of The International Order of the Golden Rule. Keynote speaker, Sam Davidson, will present Leadership Stories that Inspire. Highlighted education will include Trends in Funeral Service, by Ryan Throgmartin; Programs that Heal Families, by Nancy Weil; and Transforming the Arrangement Conference, by Karl Jennings.
