David Nixon started working with funeral directors in 1979, and for 17 years, he was a partner in an accounting firm for funeral homes. He has prepared thousands of funeral home budgets and specializes in funeral home budgeting, pricing, business planning and FTC Funeral Rule compliance. He has presented business seminars for numerous associations, including: CANA, Wilbert Funeral Services and NFDA. David is a member of the NFDA Exhibit Advisory Committee and is a member of ICCFA, CANA, the American Management Association, and he is a professional member of the Institute of Management Consultants. David is the author of frequent articles for funeral service trade publications, including a 13-year series for American Funeral Director magazine, titled “Listening to Cremation.”
